Description: Sleek short-haired Manx (no tail!) silver tabby with classic markings (swirls).
Personality: Pumbaa is both his name and battle cry! When he wants someone to come play with him, he chirrups and trills; he's very talkative! He can't seem to resist calling out as he prepares to sneak-attack his brother, Timon. He loves lounging around on shoes and on people, but if a moth or fly happens to make it into the house he is On The Job until it has been taken care of. He and his brother (both Manxes) are very close and need to be adopted together. Once you meet them, you'll understand! These two are a special opportunity.
Animal History: Pumbaa exhibited some of the symptoms of Manx Syndrome in his kitten hood. Read this article.
He has successfully undergone treatment and has been symptom-free for over a year (other than requiring prescription food). Because of his history, he requires adopters who will be responsive and proactive about any future issues that might occur.
