Description: Hugh is milk chocolate brown with beautiful white markings.
Personality: Like all dogs, Hugh is special. His foster family felt drawn to rescue him, and he loves them for it. Hugh is superduper snuggly and cuddly! Currently he is in training and enjoying playing with other dogs. He would also do well in a home where he can revel in all the attention for himself. When he first met us at a meet-and-greet, Hugh went directly to our (then) 4-year-old son, lowered, his head, and began wagging his tail!
He loves people, but doesn't appreciate the cats in our home! Hugh is strong, and can be energetic and playful, and then settle right down and be mellow. If you have a place in your heart and home for a great dog who just wants love and attention, please apply to adopt Hugh!
Animal History: Hugh was pulled from a local shelter to save his life. He had been a long-term stray prior to going to the shelter.
