Red's Story...
Red is a special needs young dog. He is about 20 months old. Red is very shy so we assume he was abused. Red is neutered, micro chipped and current with his vaccinations. He is heart worm negative and on preventative. He is also on Flea and Tick preventative. Red does very good with other dogs. Red needs a home where he is given his space and understood. He is a loving dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Red, a San Antonio Blue Heeler/Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Blue Heeler/Pointer for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Blue Heeler/Pointer dog from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Blue Heeler/Pointer breeders who help with Blue Heeler/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
