Lily's Story...
"Lily" is a cute one-year old female Chihuahua who was surrendered by her owner on May 16, 2016. This young lady has a fawn-colored short smooth coat with auburn shading, a long tail, and an adorable Chihuahua face with a black button nose and large erect ears. "Lily" is a frightened youngster at the moment who cannot understand what happened to the home she once enjoyed :( We opted to take Lily's preliminary photos in her comfy donut bed where she felt more secure. We will take more flattering pictures when "Lily" is feeling more relaxed, but we wanted to let potential adopters/rescue groups know that this beautiful little girl was in our shelter and needs a new home. "Lily" has been kept indoors and is housebroken. She weighs 7.4 lbs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lily, a Marietta Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
