Pixie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and not good with dogs.

Pixie's Story...
Pixie is about six months old. She is very sweet and was rescued from a bad situation on the streets as a stray. Pixie is pretty self-sufficient and has a knack of taking care of herself without requiring lots of special attention or care. She has been spayed and vaccinated against rabies. This is a courtesy posting - if you are interested in adopting Pixie, please contact Adrienne at 210-445-7754. Sorry, we do not ship our cats, provide any transportation, or do out of state adoptions.

Adoption Process: We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application prior to setting up an appointment to visit with the cat(s). We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. If you email us, we will provide you with an application - either by email or by mail. Our adoption applications are also available for download at http://www.sanantonioferalcats.org/adoption_list.cfm

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pixie, a San Antonio Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
