Percy's Story...
Sweet little blue and gray kitty

Percy was rescued with his very young mother and siblings from a lady's backyard.  He and his mother and siblings were brought to a foster home where they have been loved and socialized.  Percy is a very sweet kitten who is always ready to run and play but is also very quick with a purr.  Just pick him up and you'll hear that motor humming!  He gets along well with all of the cats (ranging from kittens to adults) as well as the little dog in his foster home.  His favorite toys are the feather sticks.  He will grab the feather end and run all over with it while the other kitties chase the end of the stick.  He looks very much like his mother, Molly, and will probably be a small cat when he is grown.  Percy has so much to offer the right forever family.  Could it be yours?  You may view Percy playing with some of his foster siblings at: and  If you are interested in Percy, please, contact his foster mom at or (210)422-2194.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Percy, a San Antonio Oriental kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Oriental for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Oriental kitten from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Oriental breeders who help with Oriental rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
