Raney's Story...
My name is Raney and I am a VERY sweet girl!  I was rescued as a tiny, shivering kitten in the rain (that's how I got my name!) when I was four weeks old.  My foster mommy says I am a Maine Coon mix.  I am sooooo loveable and like to cuddle with my foster mommy and other cats in the house, and I play all the time because I am so happy.  I like people and other cats and am litterbox trained.  I also have a very good disposition. I was spayed on 1/11/2010 and am up to date on my vaccinations.  I was also microchipped.  I am ready to go to my new home!!

If you are interested in adopting Raney, please contact Chris at 210-232-2790. Sorry, we do not ship our cats, provide any transportation, or do out of state adoptions.

Adoption Process:
We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application prior to setting up an appointment to visit with the cat(s). We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. If you email us, we will provide you with an application - either by email or by mail.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Raney, a San Antonio Maine Coon kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Maine Coon kitten from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
