Cinder's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and good with cats.

Cinder's Story...

Cinder is a very sweet girl who was rescued from a dangerous street west of the San Antonio airport. She has long hair and is a solid gray (blue) color. Her little face is as pretty as any cat's you've ever seen. Cinder was taken in to be spayed and vaccinated on 1/25/2010. It turns out that she had already been spayed, but was brought current on her vaccinations. She has tested negative for FIV and Feline Leukemia.

Cinder is extremely sweet and longs for attention. She had been living on the streets, with feral cats, for a couple of years, dodging speeding cars and coyotes. She was somebody's pet at one point but was abandoned. Now she needs a special home where she can be warm, dry, and pampered without having to live and hide in the bushes.

If you are interested in adopting or fostering Cinder, please contact Chris at 210-232-2790. Sorry, we do not ship our cats, provide any transportation, or do out of state adoptions.

Adoption Process:
We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application prior to setting up an appointment to visit with the cat(s). We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. If you email us, we will provide you with an application - either by email or by mail.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cinder, a San Antonio Russian Blue cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Russian Blue for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Russian Blue cat from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Russian Blue breeders who help with Russian Blue rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
