Thomas's Story...
cute kitten, neutered, microchipped, vaccinated

Thomas is a very sweet lap kitty.  Thomas and his brother, Simon, were found at a local school when they were about 5 to 6 weeks old.  Scared and hungry, they did not know that humans could be trusted.  But, once in their loving foster home, they soon learned to not only trust but to love their human foster family.  Thomas is the quieter of the two, but loves to run and play with his brother as well as with the kitty toys.  He also really loves his cardboard scratcher and looks very serious when he is engaged with it.  He is already a 'lap' kitty, loving to sit for long periods on his foster mom's lap being petted and cuddled.  He is hoping that there is a family out there looking for two sweet brothers to adopt together, but, he would consider going to the right family without his brother.  He gets along with the other kitties at his foster home and doesn't mind the little dog that seems to only want to ignore him.  He has been neutered, microchipped, combo tested (negative), vaccinated and dewormed.  His foster family has grown to love him very much but they know that every kitty deserves to have his very own forever home.  To find out more about Thomas or how to adopt him, please, calle Lesa McFadden at 210-422-2194 or e-mail at ljm429@earthlink.net.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Thomas, a San Antonio Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
