Tyson is a sweet 5 year old red nose pit bull in need of an energetic loving family. I have had Tyson since he was 6 months old. Unfortunately my mother has become I'll and I need to move in with her to care for her. Her housing/retirement community has a no pit bull by law and he is over the pet weight limit. Tyson is about 60-65 lbs. He is up to date on all shots and he is neutered. He is a big lapdog.....but he is very energetic and loves to play and please. He is fully house trained and is OK on as leash. Tyson has been quit spoiled I will admit. He has had is own bedroom since I've had him. He loves it. Sometimes just hangs in there. He does however love to sleep in my bed when allowed. He needs a quality home with love..energy...and discipline. He is great with smaller dogs. He gets excited when he sees bigger dogs....I've just kept him away. {This is a courtesy post. Tyson is not a Spotty Dog Rescue dog. Please contact his owner at tyson3299@yahoo.com for more information.}

About Spotty Dog Rescue, Inc

About Our Rescue Group...

FOSTER-BASED

All of our dogs are housed in loving foster homes until their forever family finds them.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT:

To provide safe harbor, medical care and love for adoptable dogs that have been abused, abandoned and neglected until they are placed into loving, responsible permanent homes; to decrease the need for senseless destroying of dogs by educating the public about the benefits of spaying & neutering; to build a community where people value animals and treat them with respect and kindness; to promote respect for life, responsible pet ownership and to encourage the higher ideals of compassion towards animals and people through education and example.

OUR COMMITMENT

Prior to adoption, each dog is spayed or neutered, receives a comprehensive veterinary examination and appropriate tests and inoculations. We conduct a thorough screening of all potential adopters to ensure the best possible match between healthy dogs and adoptive homes. We make a lifetime commitment to all of our rescued dogs. Our mission does not end with adoption. We follow up with advice, support and appropriate resources to assure a successful integration of each dog into his or her new home.
