Spencer's Story...
Spencer is a delightful young boy who will make a wonderful family dog. He is still learning social graces, but so far has shown to be friendly with dogs and humans. Spencer appears to be a scottie/lab mix, and has a nice personality combining traits from both breeds - playful, alert, friendly, happy, active and cuddly. He takes a moment to warm up to strangers, but once warmed up, he is happily prancing around asking for attention. Spencer is very playful with the other dogs in his foster home. Spencer has been around a 5 year old child and has been just as friendly with him as he is with everyone. Did I mention that Spencer is full of doggie kisses?

Spencer is a Scottish terrier mix born ~September 2015

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spencer, a Alpharetta Scottie, Scottish Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Scottie, Scottish Terrier for sale in Alpharetta, or seeking a Scottie, Scottish Terrier dog from a breeder in Alpharetta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alpharetta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alpharetta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Scottie, Scottish Terrier breeders who help with Scottie, Scottish Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alpharetta paves the way for another one to be saved.
