Little Skittles came to Catvando when her elderly person was moved into an assisted living home. It has been a big change for her to come from a quiet home to a busy shelter situation and through it all she has been her sweet self. When you take the time to talk to her and scratch behind her ears and under her chin, she purrs and nudges to encourage more petting. She even purrs while chasing toys, especially string toys. In fact, even though she is a little shy, she purrs when you look at her and talk to her. Besides her gentle personality she is a pretty black and white tuxedo with a white tipped tail. She is very adaptable, gets along with all the cats she meets, has no bad habits and doesn't ask for much. She has been here a long time but doesn't give up hope that someone will want to take her home, and she is often the first one to greet visitors. We think she would be happiest in a quiet stable adult home with a cat companion or two.
