My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cody is an adorable, very cuddly, 7-year-old Cockapoo and available for adoption! Cody weighs 15 lbs.

Cody is a total love! He is soft, cuddly and loves to be held. And once Cody’s had enough affection, he’s ready to go and hang out on his bed. He will even give you a few licks. Cody isn't overly needy and is independent too.

Cody is very food motivated, so, he is also very trainable. He will do anything for food!

Cody is almost always happy with a smiley face. He is people social, has shown no anxiety in his foster home and is happy to just go and lie in his bed throughout the day.

Due to the fact Cody seldom barks, he is suited for an apartment or a house. However, for an adopter in an apartment/condo, Cody is best living with someone who works from home or is retired.

Cody has been very well cared for and loved in his foster home. When he was first brought to his foster home, Cody had just had surgery—a femoral head osteotomy—due to a fractured pelvis. We are unsure what caused the trauma, but perhaps it was due to being hit by a car.

Cody has recovered beautifully from this surgery and his X-rays confirm he is healing well. Cody has also just had a dental. About a month ago, Cody had bladder stone surgery due to calcium oxalate stones. He is currently eating Hills Prescription Diet C/D. Cody is very food-driven. So, being strict with his diet and not over feeding him is important.
