Clover - 16yrs!!'s Story...
We know she looks like a grump in her pictures, but Clover is actually a sweet old girl who desperately needs a forever home. Clover is 16yrs old, and was an indoor/outdoor cat most of her life. Several months ago, Clover came to us as a stray. She had been sitting outside of a local store. Her owner came and got her, and then let Clover outside again where she was picked up outside the same store. Her owner never came back for her this time around. Clover is actually VERY content to be living in a home, she sleeps most of the day away and is just a relaxed senior cat that wants a cozy place to spend the rest of her time. Shelter life is NOT a life for her. She has lost weight and looks very unkempt due to all of the stress on top of being the age she is. Clover is sweet, loving, and gets along fine with other cats. She would really thrive being in a home environment again. Adopting a senior cat is one of the most selfless things a person can do, and Clover would be forever grateful.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Clover - 16yrs!!, a Broadway Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Broadway, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Broadway.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Broadway already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Broadway breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Broadway paves the way for another one to be saved.
