My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jeff. What a handsome dog. Jeff is quiet and laid back. In his foster home, he sits on the levee and watches the birds and wildlife quietly, without barking. Jeff seems to love men best, but he loves everyone.Once bonded, he likes to sit next to his person; he will make a great companion for a single, a couple or a family with older kids. Animal Rescue Recon makes sure that each dog is current on its vaccinations, has been or will be spayed or neutered, and is microchipped to help keep pets out of the shelters and get them back home where they belong. For more information or to schedule an appointment to meet Jeff contact Animal Rescue Recon 925-392-7654

- Since all of our adoptable pets are currently in foster homes, please contact Animal Rescue Recon to set up an appointment for a meet and greet. If there is already a dog or children in the home, please plan on bringing them too.

- Pictures of secured fencing is required for all Animal Rescue Recon dogs unless approved for apartment living.

- If you rent a home or apartment we need to review your lease agreement to verify pets are allowed upon adoption.
