Max's Story...
Hi. I'm Maximus, or Max for short. I'm a 2 year old lab mix weighing about 60lbs. Unfortunately my family split up and with my mom now working 2 jobs, she just couldn't keep me anymore. I have lived with and like other dogs as well as kids but would do best with other dogs my size and not small dogs. I also probably shouldn't live with kitties because I try to play with them a bit rough and they're a lot smaller than I am. I am a smart boy who knows fetch, sit, lay down, shake, and kennel. I'm potty and kennel trained. I love walks but I do better in a harness than just with my collar. I'm pretty much the perfect guy and I'd love a fresh start with you and your family.

If you would like to met Max, please email us at kcpetfinder@hotmail.com. Max's adoption fee is $175 and includes neuter, age appropriate shots, microchip, and heartworm testing.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Overland Park Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
