From the Foster: Hi, my name is Gidget. I am 13 years old, but don't let my age fool you. I'm a very active, feisty girl. I love food, belly rubs, walks, treats, the dog park, cuddles, dinner time, naps, toys, and eating. Did I mention I love food? I'm part Dachshund and part Chihuahua - a Chi-weenie, they say.
From the foster: You would never know Gidget was 13 - she acts like a much younger dog. She's full of energy and sass, and I've never met a dog who loves food more than her. She's such a sweetheart, loves going for walks or running around at the dog park and loves cuddles with her human. I don't think she's a great dog for small children; she can be a little nippy. Gidget also has eye problems that require eye drops three times/day. She's really used to getting them and doesn't fuss at all.
All dogs are in individual foster homes throughout the Twin Cities.
