Find a pet to adopt
I am up to date with shots.
This is one of three siblings Ralph, Rita and Roxy and we believe they are Beagle/Dachshund mutt mixes (maybe other breeds in there too so this is our best guess). They are 14 weeks old and ready to come to CT please note they are NOT in CT due to lack of fosters. They are too young to spay/neuter so that will be required by the adopter. So please do not fill out an application unless you are willing to adopt from transport. You can get an application at www.addicuslegacy.org

Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Hartford already know the personality and tendencies
of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it
much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Hartford breeder,
or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for
a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of
You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home.
In fact, there are even Dachshund/Beagle breeders who
help with Dachshund/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten
adopted in West Hartford paves the way for another one to be saved.
