Rosie's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Rosie's Story...
Rosie was given away because the former owners could not take care of her. She was infested with fleas and internal parasites when she came into the rescue. She was treated for these and placed in a foster home until she could be spayed and then placed with a new family. Rosie will be ready to go to her new home after 6/7/16. A pre-adoption application is required. The link to our online application is: www.adoptapet.com/FOTS/adoption-application .

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosie, a Hartford Shih Tzu/Jack Russell Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Hartford, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Jack Russell Terrier puppy from a breeder in Hartford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hartford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hartford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hartford paves the way for another one to be saved.
