Sophia's Story...
This is Sophia. She is a sweet 2 year old 8 pound bundle of joy that was surrendered to an animal shelter in a neighboring county. We do not know why she was surrendered nor can we imagine why. She is sweet, funny, and cuddly. She gets along with the other dogs here at our clinic, both large and small. Sophia is looking for a home where she will be an inside pup. She would like a fenced in area but would also be happy going out on a leash for potty and walks. She will be a great snuggle buddy while lounging around watching TV and would probably also like sleeping with you if that is something that you allow. Our adoption fee is $150, This includes the spay/neuter and vaccinations up to the date in which the animal is adopted.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sophia, a Siler City Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Siler City, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Siler City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Siler City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Siler City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Siler City paves the way for another one to be saved.
