Momma Daisy's Story...
DISCLAIMER!!!!! THIS IS THE BESTEST DOG EVER !!! SHE SHOULD HAVE ADOPTERS FIGHTING TO ADOPT HER!!!!
Hello my name is Daisy. Like so many of my fellow rescued dogs I have been neglected most of my life. Finally after I had my last litter my human people decided they no longer wanted me around At that point ACT NOW came and took me and my 3 babies into rescue. Unfortunately my human people cared so very little for any of us that they had allowed my babies and I to get sarcastic mange. We itched and screamed all day. I was helpless to soothe my babies and our cries for simple compassion went unanswered. Fortunately after just about 48 hrs from when our foster mom came and got us I knew our lives had changed for the better. We were given a bath and medicine to help our itchy skin. We were given good food and cold water. And wonderfully fluffy bedding to sleep on. I knew now my babies would have a chance at a healthy life and a loving home.. My sweet babies and I are recovering nicely now with the care of our great foster family and supervision from the vet. It will take a bit for their hair to grow back but I am hoping someone will look past their missing hair and see the precious creatures god created.

DAISY is mix of boxer/lab/st bernard??? unknown We were told boxer mix but her face looks like a little St Bernard maybe in her family life. She is 4 yrs old , 53 lbs and 1000% house trained. . Best house trained dog I have ever had!!!!. She is the sweetest girl, very calm and lovable. She gets along great with her adult foster siblings , other puppies and even cats and a foster kitten. She would be a great addition to anyones family. She is heart worm negative and will be spayed as soon as her body is ready.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Momma Daisy, a ST LOUIS Boxer/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Labrador Retriever for sale in ST LOUIS, or seeking a Boxer/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in ST LOUIS.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in ST LOUIS already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a ST LOUIS breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Boxer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in ST LOUIS paves the way for another one to be saved.
