Walden is a male miniature Poodle only 1 year old. He is on the small side, weighing only 11 pounds full grown. Walden has a soft, handsome white coat of curls that are non-shedding. He has been groomed and has a very short haircut right now. If allowed, his coat will grow out in luxurious, thick curls. Walden has longer, wavy fur on his ears and tail. Walden is a sweet baby boy, totally friendly and with a loving, kind heart. Walden adores people and is very agreeable. If you want to go for a ride in the car, Walden will hop right up. If you want to go for a walk, Walden trots dutifully along. If you want to snooze on the couch, Walden will curl up beside you as content as can be. He is easy to manage, excellent with company, great in public, and great with just about anything. His indoor manners are superb and he appears to be housebroken. Walden likes other small dogs his size and can be gently playful when the mood strikes. His personality is delightfully warm and affectionate. Walden will thrive in a home where he is pampered and kept safe. He looks to his people for guidance and promises to be an excellent, devoted pet and companion. Walden was rescued from a very high-volume/high-kill shelter where he was brought in as a stray. This adorable, happy young boy is a wonderful find for sure and will make some person or family very happy! He is safe with children although they should be gentle since he is small. Walden is very healthy and ready for his new forever home today!
Walden’s adoption donation is $425 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Walden is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Sunghye and Joe and is ready for his forever home.
