I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Cottonball's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, a special needs pet, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Cottonball's Story...
Needs Experienced Adopter: Would prefer since she was abused.

Spayed / Neutered: Will be spayed May 23
Housetrained: Working on it.

Special Needs: Cottonball came to us from a breeder. She does not have any teeth so she requires wet/canned food only. She is very shy and believes you will hurt/kick her if you move too fast. Currently she does not like to be held, but her foster Mom is working on that. She is very loving but needs someone willing to work with her to get her over the abuse she has suffered. She would be a great dog for a single older person. She just wants to lay around and prefers sleeping on a rug instead of a dog bed. She hated her first bath but has gotten better at them.

Cottonball just wants/needs love. Are you willing to give this abused little baby a chance. Open your heart and you just might find the love of your life.

Good with kids? Unknown...Foster Mom does not have any children

Adoption fee: $85

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cottonball, a Hopkinsville Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Hopkinsville, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Hopkinsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hopkinsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hopkinsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hopkinsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
