Sherlock's Story...
Hi my name is Sherlock and I am estimated to be between 1-3 years old. I came to Forgotten Angels out of the county animal care and control. I am an active younger dog with my favorite activities of running around playing with other small dogs as well as playing fetch and tug of war with my toys.

My new family need to be somewhat active and have a small yard for me to run and play in or take me for lots of walks. I will not do so good with babies or toddlers, but I would be okay with kids that are middle age to older. I would also be okay with another small breed dog, however I do not do well with larger dogs as that is just part of my Chihuahua breed. I know my picture is not very good but I am usually to busy playing or being active to have my picture taken.

If interested in adopting me please contact my foster mom Jennifer Thompson 480-225-5495 or send an email for and adoption application so that it can be completed and returned. I would love to find a new forever home

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sherlock, a Mesa Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound for sale in Mesa, or seeking a Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound dog from a breeder in Mesa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mesa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mesa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound breeders who help with Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mesa paves the way for another one to be saved.
