Cameo & Kittens's Story...
**RESCUE/FOSTER ONLY** ... "Cameo" is a beautiful 3-year old female Tuxedo kitty who arrived at the HSOV on May 17, 2016 along with her three 3-week old kittens. "Cameo" has a black-and-white short smooth coat in a tuxedo pattern, a long tail, and a stunning face with bronze eyes, long white whiskers, and the cutest white markings on her muzzle which gives her the appearance of wearing white lipstick :) She has a very sweet, affectionate personality and is such a good mother to her babies. "Cameo" has three biological kittens (one white, one black, and one black/white), and she accepted an orphaned orange tabby kitten (Little Big Man) with 'open paws' when he needed a new mother. Mother "Cameo" is a petite girl who weighs 5.8 lbs. She and her family are available for rescue/foster only at the present time. Rescue groups may send an email to our Feline Rescue Coordinator (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net) We can usually help with transportation. "Cameo" was combo tested on May 21, 2016 and is negative for feline leukemia, FIV, and heartworm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cameo & Kittens, a Marietta Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
