Yvonne's Story...
Yvonne is a beautiful, long-haired tortie, who is 1-2 years old. Yvonne's story is a sad one that we hear all too often in rescue. Yvonne's family decided they didn't want her so they threw her outside to live. Because she wasn't spayed, she ended up pregnant and had 8 kittens. Unfortunately, the children in her neighborhood weren't very nice and decided to 'play' with the kittens - and all the kittens but one died. In spite of all that, Yvonne is very sweet and absolutely loves people. She would like nothing better than to sit on your lap or curl up next to you in bed. Yvonne is very cautious around other cats and although she has adjusted to the cats in her foster home, would probably prefer to be the only cat. She tolerates the dogs in her foster home and will set limits with them if they bug her too much. Yvonne has had a terrible start in life and deserves a loving, forever home. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Yvonne, a Phoenix Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
