Kohl's Story...

Kohl is a 2 year old male terrier mix with wiry cream colored hair. He was found being hit by a car in the Kohl’s parking lot. A lady ran him over but only stopped for a second because she had to finish her Christmas shopping. Poor little guy was so scared and hurting. He was shy at first but came out of his shell quick. He acts like it might be his first time in a home but he is loving every minute of it. He likes being a spoiled house pet. He is very calm and chill and just likes to hang out. He comes up and tries to crawl in your lap. He still scares easily so would do better with older kids. He gets along great with other mellow dogs with a slow introduction. He must have been bullied by a couple dogs when he was living on the streets. The terrier in him takes over when he sees a cat and he wants to chase it and catch it. So no cats for Kohl. This little guy has come a long way quick and everyday we see more and more wonderful personality shining through. If Kohl seems like the right match for you please call Jen #623-210-6578.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kohl, a Phoenix Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
