Thor was surrendered by his owner in April 2011. She had to give him up because her daughter had to move in with her and had a new baby who Thor just hated. Thor is your typical Chihuahua and is 8 years old with short cream colored hair. When I first picked Thor up from his original owner he was very scared but allowed me to hold him. He has only ever lived with the 1 owner and doesn’t even want to warm up to her husband if she is holding him. He will sit in his lap if she is not around though. Its been about the same having him in foster care. He took a little bit to warm up to my husband and I, but he is very food oriented so we cheated a little. He is such a nice guy once he gets to know you and trust you. He is very snuggly and loves attention. He loves car rides and walks and just being with his person. He also does not want to have to share with another dog or cat. Thor would be great with maybe a single person or a couple who does not have a bunch of people over all the time. It throws him all off whenever I have guests and he just barks. He will take an understanding of the Chihuahua mentality for his owner. He just wants a nice lap to lay in and a quiet home.
