Rita-24 pounds's Story...
Please do not click the adopt me Button. If you're interested in meeting this dog, please go to our website at angelsonwheels.org to complete the on-line adoption application.

Although we make the best guess on the breed and size of our dogs, because they come from shelters or are strays, we can never be completely certain of the genetic makeup of the dog. All we can tell you for sure is that they are 100% RESCUED! If an animal is still posted for adoption, he/she is still available. If you see this post, she is available for adoption so there is no need to email us for availability.

Meet Rita, she is a precious girl who we pulled from Chicago Animal Care and Control. She was an owner surrender who waited almost 2 months to be saved before we pulled her. Owner's said that didn't want her anymore, but indicated she was great with dogs, cats, and children. We can tell you that is true. She is fabulous with other dogs and just wants to play, play, play. She is super friendly, super sweet, very happy go lucky girl. Rita's about 1 year old and 24 pounds. She hasn't had any accidents in the foster home, she doesn't care about the kitties in the home, and the foster is working on basic obedience with her.

Rita loves running around, and has a bit of energy which is expected given her age. Her breed well that is a total guess. We think she is a Beagle/pug mix, but again that's just our best guess. She walks well on a leash, and has already learned to sit. She was tested for the CIV virus which is the dog flu, and she was negative.

If you would like to meet Rita, an adoption application is required since we do not have a physical building. You can find our adoption application on line on our website at www.angelsonwheels.org then click on the forms tab. Once received it will be process, and the foster will be in touch within 7 days once the application is processed and if approved! Keep in mind that there may be multiple applicants applying for the same animal(s). It's advised to submit an application immediately if you're interested in meeting this pet. Emails will slow down the process, and while you are awaiting an email response, which can take several days, we may get applications.

Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but is required prior to making arrangements for a meet and greet as all of our animals are cared for in homes. We can't schedule meet and greets until the application is submitted and approved. We don't have a building so there are no viewing hours. All of our animals are cared for in foster homes by wonderful families who volunteer their time to save these precious souls.

The adoption fee is $300 and includes:
Her spay with is now done

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rita-24 pounds, a Naperville Pug/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Beagle for sale in Naperville, or seeking a Pug/Beagle dog from a breeder in Naperville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Naperville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Naperville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Beagle breeders who help with Pug/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Naperville paves the way for another one to be saved.
