Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Porsche # 4609 is an adorable 4-year-old female, Pomeranian mix. Porsche is one of 300 Pomeranians who were rescued in a cruelty seizure. When she first arrived in her foster home she was a quiet and shy pup. Now she is a sweet girl who is thriving on extra love. Even though she has gone through a lot, she is always happy to see you and enthusiastically wags her tail. She will go into a zen like state with her eyes closed if you sit and devote time to pet her. She is a good eater and prefers dry food to canned. She is very good for a bath and for brushing. She walks on a harness well for about a half mile, then she would rather be carried.
Porsche has some difficulties too. She has a problem with submissive peeing and will need continued elimination training and house training. She has bonded more with her foster mom as she provides the majority of care. She has been good (no signs of aggression) with her calm 6-year-old son. She does shows signs of food aggression with other dogs. Often free feeding can help with food aggression. The cats in her foster home do not seem to like her but she has shown no aggression toward them. She has had brief interaction with her foster's dog and it seemed to go well. She appears to be more nervous than angry. She would do well in a home with an experienced small dog person that is willing to take on the challenge of integrating her into the household.
This pup is microchipped. If you are interested in giving Porsche a loving home, please download and submit an application. The application maybe found on our website: http://www.lastchanceanimalrescue.org/adoptus.html and return it per instructions. Email dogs@lastchanceanimalrescue.org with questions.
