My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gertie comes to us from Windsor Animal Control where she was finally caught after swimming back and forth across the Farmington River to her own little island. Besides loving the water, this sweet Lab/Terrier mix also loves children and other dogs. Gertie is about 3 years old and 45 pounds. She has all ready seen our vet to get updated on all her vaccines, is spayed and microchipped. She's looking for a family to call her very own.
