My name is Zena!

Himalayan Kitten for adoption in Mason City, Iowa - Zena

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Zena's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Zena's Story...
3 legged lap kitty that does not want to be left alone. I am very inquisitive and quite a talker. I lost my leg because I got too close to a farm dog’s food and he broke my leg beyond repair so it had to be amputated. I am not afraid of dogs. My foster mom has big dogs and I like them. I have to recover from my amputation before I can be spayed. But that will be real soon and then I will be ready to go home. I am in foster care so if you would like to visit with me, please call the shelter to arrange an appointment.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zena, a Mason City Himalayan kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Himalayan for sale in Mason City, or seeking a Himalayan kitten from a breeder in Mason City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mason City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mason City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Himalayan breeders who help with Himalayan rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mason City paves the way for another one to be saved.
