My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Prince Charming, and I am indeed charming! I only weigh about 8lbs and I’m a super sweet 4 year old pommie. I love to get in bed and when I sleep, I snore a bit – but I won’t keep you awake though, I promise! I prefer women over men, I don’t dislike men, but do shy away from them. My foster mom suspects that it could have been from bad experiences. I do well with kids and other dogs. Cats are new for me and I think I may do okay with them but not too sure yet. I like stuffed toys and will take them outside, I also like playing in water. You got a puppy pool? I do well on a leash and like to go on walks with you. I’m crate trained, doggy door trained, and housebroken, but if I get really scared, I might have an accident. I will curl up on your lap and let you rub my belly until I fall asleep or your hand falls off which ever happens first! Usually it’s sleep! I’m a really great little dog, just hesitant to trust which is understandable since I came from a situation where I wasn’t treated as a family pet, but once I’m comfortable with you, I will love you unconditionally. When I came to this awesome rescue, I was sick and was treated for Rocky Mountain tick disease. I completed my medicine and doing great now. I do have allergies that I take medicines for. I would love a home where I can be loved, have lots of toys, plenty of food and a lap to curl up on. My adoption fee is $250.*Note that Prince Charming can be scared of sudden loud noises.
