Meet Lucy and her six babies: Miss T, Meow Cat, Thunder, Gabriella, Flash, and Gideon!
This is Lucy and shes was the mama of six adorable kittens.! She is SUPER sweet and was a fantastic mother! If you meow at her she will meow back. Now, how is that as an attribute that will make you smile!
Update as of 11/1: Lucy has been in a foster home for some time now and her foster mom has this to say about her:
"Lucy : is a sweet girl; she loves people, although she does not like other cats. She likes to play with toy mice and birds and carries them around and meows with them in her mouth! She would be a great cat in a home with no other animals because she has a tendency to pick on other kitties if any are around her. She is super nice to people, though!"
She is a big kitty as of now and we would like to see her lose some of that excess weight that she gained after her kittens were weaned and had food available that was not there for her when she was a stray, struggling to raise kittens. That shouldn't be a problem with the correct food portions and having a forever family who will keep her busy with all of the toys that she so loves!
If you are interested in adopting this sweet young girl, please fill out an adoption application online. Nothing will make her happier than to know that all of her babies will find forever homes and that she will also find the forever home that she has been dreaming of.
The A.R.W.O.B. group is based in San Diego, CA and operates mostly in Mexico as well as Southern California and will come to the aid of any animal in need which crosses our path. Our belief is to do what we can in order to “Make a difference in their lives.” From experience we have observed and feel the companion animals of Mexico are in the greatest need and accordingly we focus much of our efforts in Baja, Mexico. However, we certainly extend our help to our north of the border critters by accepting relinquished family pets, exiting both dogs and cats from the shelters of San Diego and of course by working in conjunction with other animal rescue groups in the community
