Mary Ann's Story...
This Beagle is putting her nose to the ground to search for someone who wants to love her forever. We rescued Mary Ann and her buddy recently when they were found as strays, taking an adventure on a busy highway. Mary Ann is only about 3 months old and she is now spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. This beautiful gal is super friendly and will will do well in most homes. Mary Ann is crate trained and loves to explore the outside during her leash walks. As long as she is kept on a schedule, she does her business outside. Beagles are a very popular breed because of their smaller size, energy level and loyalty to their person. Mary Ann does well with other dogs and particularly loves to cuddle. Mary Ann is the complete package! Of course, she is still a puppy, so she will need someone who will continue her training. She just wants to be your very special companion and explore every tomorrow with you. Mary Ann is reviewing adoption applications at ITVRescue.org. She is ready for her own house and will greet you with sweet puppy kisses, a wagging tail and maybe a sweet Beagle hello. Mary Ann won't need a three hour cruise to find her new best friend, but she is excited to meet you. Don't wait. You may miss the boat if you don't come meet Mary Ann now!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mary Ann, a Evansville Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Evansville, or seeking a Beagle puppy from a breeder in Evansville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Evansville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Evansville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Evansville paves the way for another one to be saved.
