Facts about James Dean

  • Breed: Labrador Retriever Mix
  • Color: Black - With White
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Male
James Dean is a wonderful, well-behaved dog. He's super friendly, excellent on leash, and fine with other dogs. He's easy to kennel, and loves to walk, jog & ride in car. He's approximately 5 years old, 60 pounds, neutered, utd on vaccinations, and available immediately for adoption.

James Dean is a sweet, smart, affectionate dog who gets along great with dogs and kids. He has a great temperament, and he passed our temperament test with flying colors. He didn't even react even when another dog got in his face and snapped at him. True to his name, James Dean is a very cool customer. His only dream is to have a family of his own.

Our adoption fee is $150 fully vetted, including: spay/neuter, vaccinations and microchips.

If you're interested in adopting James, please submit an Adoption Application, available here:

About Florida Urgent Rescue Inc

About Our Rescue Group...

Our mission is to dramatically improve the lives of shelter and rescue animals, to assist in urgent rescue situations and to implement resources to help in the aid of these animals. We rescue from death row at high kill shelters and help them have happy lives in their furever homes.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Please note: We are not a shelter. We do not have a kennel or facility that you can visit and see all the Animals. Each Animal is fostered in an individual home. So, you cannot come visit our animals until you have gone through the application and brief phone interview process and then we will schedule a meet and greet with the animal and their foster parents. Then the next step would be a 1 week sleepover, so before finalizing we can all make sure it's a perfect fit. We are all volunteers and do this in our spare time, we do not have set "hours" and we answer all calls and emails as quickly as we can. Thank you so much for your interest in our FUR Babies!

Our Adoption Process...

We require a written application, references and a home check prior to adoption. If you're interested in a foster-to-adopt, we are very flexible.
