Storm's Story...
This girl is part of our Superhero litter! Dazzler, Jubilee, Storm and Rogue are indeed, pretty SUPER! They are approximately 10 weeks old and around 7 pounds. This litter is in our PADDLE Program (Prisoners And Dogs Developing Life Experiences) in our local jail. The female trustees raise the puppies and care for them until we can complete their vetting and adopt them out. This program has had such wonderful reviews and the dogs are really wonderful that graduate from it. The dogs begin basic "manners" and begin training with puppy pads. They are extremely social and well adjusted and the adopters really see the results of the hard work the trustees put in to the dogs. If you would like to add one of these Superheroes to your family please visit our website at www.goofyfootrescue.org and fill out an online application. These girls are in the program in TN and will be transported once their adoption is finalized.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Storm, a Allentown Labrador Retriever/Husky puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Husky for sale in Allentown, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Husky puppy from a breeder in Allentown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allentown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allentown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Husky breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allentown paves the way for another one to be saved.
