Wonder   Woman  ID#372965 is a female, 9-year old Boxer & Catahoula blend weighing about 55 lbs. She is living in a foster home. The following is what her foster family has to say about her ...

" Wonder   Woman  is true to her name. She is wonderful and absolutely beautiful! She is sweet, playful and well-behaved, despite her past. She loves to be loved, relax with you, is patient when you handle her, and loves children and babies. She's an older gal, but is always up for a quick game of fetch or tug-of-war. She is also housebroken, leash trained. I (her foster) own a small/medium-sized dog that it is much smaller than she is, and even when he tries to be the aggressor, she ignores him. My recommendation, with a dog of any size, would be to have a meet and greet to see if they are compatible."

Wonder Woman is spayed, current on vaccinations, microchipped and her adoption comes with one free month of pet health insurance. To arrange to meet Wonder Woman or for more information about her, please write to Adopt@sanantoniopetsalive.org and please mention ID#372965. Please allow up to 24 hours for a response because we are all volunteers.

About San Antonio Pets Alive

About Our Rescue Group...

San Antonio Pets Alive (SAPA!) is a new organization that will be modeled after the very successful Austin Pets Alive (APA). APA was instrumental in helping Austin achieve their goal of no longer euthanizing healthy, adoptable pets from the city shelter. SAPA has teamed up with Animal Care Services in order for the city of SA to reach their no-kill goal.

In partnership with San Antonio’s Animal Care Services, we are implementing innovative and progressive programs to:

Rescue as many pets as possible off of the daily “euthanasia list”. In our rescue program, to not duplicate work of other agencies, we focus solely on the pets who have already been passed over by other groups and the shelters’ adoption programs and create programs to save their lives and find them new homes.

Our rescue program is focused 100% on the dogs and cats who are about to be killed. We wait until the shelters have chosen the pets they want for their adoption programs and other rescue groups have pulled the pets that they can take, then we go in and rescue the rest that we can fit into our programs.

If you are interested in fostering an animal, please visit our website and fill out our online Foster Application. The more foster homes we have the more animals we can pull off the euthanasia list and the more lives we can save together!
