Tanner's Story...

Tanner is one of Jackie's puppies!  I am a terrier mix of some sort and we think there could be some Jack Russell in there!  I am cute, small and loveable and I will grown into a small dog!   We are guessing around 10 to 15 lbs.  I am also medium energy at my current age of 11 weejs old and I really like to play alot!  Since I am so young I will also need to go out every 3 to 4 hours for a potty break while I continue house training.  Overall, I will need an owner will give me lot's of guidance, take me to puppy school and patience so I can grow into a well behaved socialized pup!  And at this young age, socializing me with other dogs will help me!  Due to a puppy's need for attention and frequent bathroom breaks, dogs under the age of 5 months old must have someone who is home frequently throughout the day.

Like most shelter dogs (and especially puppies), Tanner will need house training when arriving in their new home.

The adoption fee for this dog is $380. Our dogs receive: routine vetting (DHPP, Bordatella, Rabies, Deworming and additional services as needed), microchip. Our adoption fee helps cover these costs. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tanner, a Herndon Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Herndon, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy from a breeder in Herndon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Herndon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Herndon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Herndon paves the way for another one to be saved.
