Jude's Info...

I am already neutered, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Jude's Story...
He's a very sweet boy about 9 months old... we rescued him thfrom the mean streets of West Philly where someone put him out and he wanted to be back inside... We only picked him up in an area we feed and feeder said new and possibly injured cat just showed up a few days before... But he's been out for a while and found his way to our feeding stations.. kind of beat up and tired w street dirt, emaciated,etc... And he got vetted on Monday and picked up Tuesday . Linda Shoenberger-Heistand was kind enough to take on finding foster for him so he can gain a little weight, feel safe, etc... Well he was so happy to be rescued he only wanted food and affection.. mainly affection. .. he allowed me to bathe him and was happy.. as you can see it didn't take him long to feel safe and at home.. however, unfortunately this is not his final stop.. he needs a special home where he can get all the love he needs.. he likes other cats ok w dogs and ridiculously friendly... So he needs the Purrrfect Furever Home... this pic is from Sunday when he was happy to be rescued even in a carrier...The 1 st pic you can see the difference in his eyes-- but he is so beautiful and sweet..I wantvhim to go to a home where he will be super spoiled

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jude, a Philadelphia Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Philadelphia, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Philadelphia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Philadelphia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Philadelphia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Philadelphia paves the way for another one to be saved.
