Simon Stubbs's Story...
This handsome fellow is Simon Stubbs. He was picked up off the street by a Good Samaritan. She tried everything to find an owner; posting flyers, listings on "Lost Dog" websites, inquiring with neighbors and shelters, but she had no luck. He is a gorgeous, black and tan long hair Dachsie and he has one of the sweetest personalities ever. In fact, I'm convinced he traded in his Dachshund "foodie trait" for an additional dose of sweetness. My neighbor commented on how soft his fur is and what a calm demeanor he has. He is very tolerant of his hyperactive foster brother, thanks to his laid back nature. He likes to be near you, but he doesn't nag to constantly be on top of you. He will, however, insist on giving you kisses after you have been gone for a period of time.
Simon loves his walks. He's only about 10 years old, and he has this great "bebop" walking style that does a heart good; both yours and his! He's a very good boy, and doesn't need to mark every vertical surface when he is out, plus he does not mark in the house either!
Simon is occasionally up for a game of chase or he is content just playing with toys. He is the total package – he's incredibility good-looking, a lovable ball of fluff, sweet as honey and he has the patience of a saint. Sounds just about perfect, don't you agree?
