This beautiful older gal came to the shelter because her previous owner had to go into the hospital. She had severe dental disease so had many tooth extractions at FVHA and is doing much better but has very few teeth left so will need to be on soft food for the rest of her life. She is currently in foster care with a wonderful volunteer foster family, so if you would like to meet this sweet and gentle girl please call the shelter to make an appointment to meet at FVHA.
We always recommend crate training, exercise, playtime, and a regular schedule for potty breaks when bringing a new dog into your home. Adjustment takes time for both you and your new family member, so remember to be patient and enjoy this new and exciting time!
Included in the adoption fee are rabies & distemper vaccinations, heartworm testing, deworming, spay or neuter surgery, and a free initial exam by one of many generous veterinary clinics who have donated their service.
