Beau's Story...
Howdy y’all! My name is Beau and I came here all the way from Texas. A kind lady there found me without a home and brought me to Wisconsin where her dad lives. I needed some dental work and vaccinations and stuff, but now I’m happy, healthy and ready to go. I’m a very friendly guy who loves to be petted and have his ears scratched. My glossy black fur is growing out and I’m turning into a very handsome kitty (did you notice my full rack of white whiskers?). I’m nine years old, so no longer a kitten, but I’ve still got lots of loving years ahead and I’m hoping to spend them in my very own home. If you’re looking for a mature, southern gentleman, I’m your man.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Beau, a Washburn Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Washburn, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Washburn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Washburn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Washburn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Washburn paves the way for another one to be saved.
