Raz's Story...
Hello people, it’s me, Raz. I am what’s known as a mini lion. I look just like a real lion except I’m about a thousand times smaller and black. Also, I really love people, but not in a “have them for dinner” way. Other than that, I’m just like the lions in Africa. I mean, look at my gorgeous king-of-the-jungle mane, my intense golden eyes, and my spiffy white whisker. Eat your heart out lion king! I do have one little weakness: I have some allergies. The folks here at HPPR have tested me and they can tell you exactly what stuff I should avoid, so it’s no big deal. So if you want to add an exotic pet to your home, stop by Helping PAWS and check out the mini lion – me!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Raz, a Washburn Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Washburn, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Washburn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Washburn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Washburn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Washburn paves the way for another one to be saved.
