Hi!! My name is Twila and I am a Jack Russell Terrier. I am 6 years old and up to date on all vaccinations. I am still young and will chase after anything that I see like squirrels and other small animals. If not on leash, I will run into the road. I am a loving and wonderful dog if I say so myself. I always want affection and will crawl in your lap to snuggle. I do have severe separation anxiety and will chew through an airline crate and breakout of a wire crate. I will hurt myself. I do expect to sleep with her owner in the bed. I would be that perfect dog for someone who is always home! I need a great forever home and I can show you how wonderful I can be as a best friend All dogs have up to date vaccines and de-worming, have heartworm checks, and are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. Please refer to this pet by ID number when calling or e-mailing. Thanks!

About Central Brevard Humane Society

About Our Shelter...

Founded in 1952, the Central Brevard Humane Society (CBHS) is Brevard County’s oldest established animal welfare organization. A “no kill for space” shelter, CBHS is dedicated to speaking for those who cannot speak for themselves. The Humane Society educates the community on responsible pet ownership and the humane treatment of animals, advocates for spaying/neutering to reduce the homeless pet population and provides the best quality care to Brevard’s abandoned animals by placing them with responsible, caring owners in “forever” homes.

The Central Brevard Humane Society provides an animal welfare shelter and programs that foster a humane ethic toward all animals. We also strive to deepen the community’s commitment to spaying and neutering, as well as to the adoption of homeless companion animals. We believe this to be essential to achieving our purpose of humane care and treatment of all animals.

Our Adoption Process...

.All animals are given up-to-date vaccines and are de-wormed upon intake. Adult dogs are given heartworm tests and have been spayed/neutered. Cats are tested for Feline Leukemia and Feline AIDS and are spayed or neutered prior to adoption.

At the time of adoptions, an additional $10.00 per cat/dog is collected for tag license fees required by the Brevard County Animal Control Services, plus a $2.00 handling fee. A $15.00 fee is also collected, if we have administered a rabies vaccine to the animal.

We accept cash payments, debit cards and credit cards (VISA, Master Card & Discover).
