My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cam is a very loving, affectionate black DSH/ Bombay mix boy who was born in July 2015. He is a little shy at first, but with a little TLC, he quickly warms up to you and will soon be in your lap. An extra bonus is that he absolutely loves to be held! Bombays can become quite attached to their humans, so they are often called "Velcro" cats. Plus Cam is eye candy to look at: he has those big copper-penny eyes and glossy black patent-leather fur like most Bombay mixes. They are often quite dog-like in that they like to fetch and can be walked on a leash! To find out more about Bombay mixes, watch the attached 2-3 minute You Tube video that appeared on Animal Planet or Google "Cats 101 Bombay."
Cam is a laid-back kitty but is no couch potato! He likes to play with toys, catnip mice, balls, as well as other foster and household cats. Won't you give this mini-panther a home of his own?
Please don't be superstitious of black cats! Buster's Friends makes a concerted effort to rescue black cats and kittens from shelters because they are five times more likely to be euthanized than any other color of cat. However, many people who have previously had a black or Bombay mix cat end up adopting another one because they seem to have such wonderful personalities and are emotionally stable and well balanced.
Cam is updated on shots, neutered, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for his indoor-only home. His adoption fee is $100, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends.
