Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Spartacus is a beautiful 2 year old German shepherd that is so deserving of a fresh start in life. He came to us with four other dogs when their owner was moving and needed to be rid of them. If we didn't know the actual age of Spartacus we would believe him to be older than he actually is. He has been quite neglected in his young life and it shows. Spartacus was very thin and his skin was just in awful condition. It seems he never had a bath or his ears cleaned and he just soaked up the attention when he had his first spa day with us. Spartacus is very shy when he first meets you but not aggressive in any way. Once he has had some time to check you out, he will lean on you and be happy to get attention from you. He is well behaved and polite. It seems that Spartacus was never walked on a leash so he will need to get more comfortable with that. He does not have much interest in toys but is happy to roam around our exercise yard and check things out. Spartacus grew up with kids and other large dogs and got along well with them all. This timid, sweet boy needs a family that will give him time to settle in and get /adjusted, and help him to put his past behind him and start over. File#26257 5/19/16
