Here's what the humans have to say about me:
MacGregor, affectionately known around here as MacAttack, is a 10 month old red Maine Coon kitten mix. This cutie gets along well with other cats, and in fact must go to a home that already has a young cat under the age of 3 or a kitten or must go home with a young cat or kitten. No exceptions to our kitten policy.
Mac is an energetic an active young boy with a lot of love and personality to share. He is initially wary of strangers, but it only takes him a minute or two to warm up. His favorite pastimes are playing with a feather wand and cuddling with his foster mom. He is one of our Amarillo rescues, and initially he was very shy at the shelter. We were concerned about taking him, but Boy, did we make the right choice, because he has turned into the most amazing, friendly, affectionate, personable kitten we've had in rescue in a long time.
If you are interested in adopting this precious boy, please contact us at merlinshoperagdollrescue@gmail.com for an application. He is now in a foster home in Ennis, Texas.
Adoption Fee: $150
Sorry, we do not ship our cats or provide any transportation. All potential adopters should reside in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, or Louisiana. We will not adopt outside of those states.
Who We Are: We are a private rescue and privately funded. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, BUT A RESCUE. A rescue is a PRIVATE HOME and not a public place to visit. Adopters must make appointments prior to visiting foster homes. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, wormed, de-fleaed, and vaccinated prior to adoption.
Adoption Process: We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application prior to setting up an appointment to visit with the cat(s). We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. If you call or email us, we will provide you with an application via email.
