Michael Milky and Michelle's Story...
Michelle, Michael and Milky, are 3 siblings who were born in an abandoned car around Easter in Holtville, CA. The person who rescued them heard a kitten crying. She followed the sound to a neighbors yard and after finding the release latch for the hood, found the first one stuck inside covered in grease. He came inside and got a bath! The next day she heard a second kitten crying and followed the cries until she found her and her brother. Mama was feral and has been fixed and is living in the yard.

The kittens were brought inside, given good food and played with so they are well socialized. Now all they need is a forever home Please open up your heart to them.

For more information please e-mail foster at phyllis891@att.net. Please visit our website at www.southerncountiesrescue.org for our adoption schedule and an application. Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Michael Milky and Michelle, a Mission Viejo Turkish Van kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Turkish Van for sale in Mission Viejo, or seeking a Turkish Van kitten from a breeder in Mission Viejo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mission Viejo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mission Viejo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Turkish Van breeders who help with Turkish Van rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mission Viejo paves the way for another one to be saved.
