Biscuit's Story...
Meet Biscuit! She is a 2 year old Shih Tzu mix who we saved from the Orange County Animal Shelter. She has an adorable personality! She runs up to new people to meet them and smell their shoes. She has been friendly with everyone. She is curious about other dogs, and seems to want to play with them. She loves her walks, loves to explore the yard and also is happy hanging out in the office with me while I work. She would be a perfect lap sitter, as she loves to snuggle with anyone who is willing! She is vaccinated, microchipped and will be spayed this week. Come meet this special girl.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Biscuit, a Newport Beach Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Newport Beach, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Newport Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newport Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newport Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newport Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
